Our Mission
Our mission is to preach and advance the teachings of Jesus Christ by creating opportunities for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and compassionate service. We pursue this mission by:
Sunday Worship Services – inspiring gatherings centered on praise, prayer, and the Word of God.
Bible Study – teaching and guiding believers toward spiritual growth and deeper understanding of Scripture.
Regular Church Meetings & Fellowships – building community, unity, and strong Christian relationships.
Children and Youth Ministry – nurturing young hearts in the knowledge and love of Jesus.
Outreach & Support – offering spiritual guidance and caring for the social and welfare needs of our church members and community.
Through these ministries, we strive to help people know God, grow in faith, and live out the love of Christ in their daily lives.
History of RCCG Rose of Sharon
RCCG Rose of Sharon was founded in 2010 in Richmond, BC, under the leadership of Pastor Emmanuel Olaoluwa and his wife. After their relocation, leadership transitioned briefly to Professor and Pastor Mrs. Akindele.
In 2013, Pastors Bamidele and Sola Dele‑Dare assumed leadership, guiding the church through a season of growth while meeting at the Cambie Community Centre in Richmond. A major milestone came in October 2019, when the church moved into its first dedicated worship space on No. 5 Road in Richmond.
By God’s grace, the parish was elevated to Zone BC3 Zonal Headquarters in March 2022. The church later moved to Vancouver – first to East Pender Street in November 2023, and then to its current home at 128 W Hastings Street in November 2024, marking a new chapter of ministry and community impact.
Throughout its journey, RCCG Rose of Sharon remains committed to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, transforming lives, restoring families, and serving the community. The church continues to grow and offers vibrant ministries for women, men, youth, students, and children.
